Almost certainly, and we have done it before. Interest practices differ from firm to firm and state to state — simple or compound, monthly or daily, a part month as a full month or counted by the day, interest settled before principal, yearly compounding from the last cleared date, and many more. We recently built, on request, an interest-first method that counts the first month in full and then day by day, with yearly compounding measured from the date interest was last cleared — because one firm needed exactly that. If your method is not already in the software, describe it to us the way you would explain it to a new clerk, and we will build it to match your business, then prove it on your own loans.
How much does a customisation cost and how long does it take?
A small customisation — an extra field, a document change, a rule tweak — is ₹999 as a one-time charge. Anything larger is quoted for you before any work begins, so you always know the cost first. Most small changes are ready within a few days. The standard software itself starts at ₹499 per month plus GST with a 30-day free trial, and the customisation is added on top only if you ask for it. You are never charged for a change you did not request.
Will a customisation for my firm affect other businesses using GoldKhata?
No. Every firm runs on its own private system with its own database, and a rule built for your business is switched on for your firm alone. Another firm never sees it, and your data is never mixed with anyone else's.
