GoldKhata is software — a subscription service (SaaS) that gold loan and pawnbroking firms use to record their loans, customers, interest, pledge cards and reports.

GoldKhata is not a lender. We do not provide loans, hold pledged gold, handle your customers' money, or take part in any loan transaction. Every loan recorded in GoldKhata is strictly between your firm and its customer.

Every plan starts with a 30-day free trial with full features — you pay only if you decide to continue. Subscriptions are billed in advance, monthly or yearly, in Indian Rupees. Payments are processed securely by Razorpay. All prices are in Indian Rupees; GST is charged extra as applicable. A payment receipt is available for every order from your account page.

Renewals are manual — nothing auto-charges. We do not set up recurring mandates on your card or UPI. Before your paid period ends we remind you on WhatsApp/email, and you renew from your account page when you choose to. If you do not renew, your account simply becomes read-only as described in section 6 — no surprise charges, ever.

WhatsApp features (receipts, reminders, rate broadcasts) are available on the Pro and Advanced plans. Connecting your firm's own Meta WhatsApp Business account is a one-time integration charge of ₹1,999.

Per-message WhatsApp charges are set and billed by Meta directly to your Meta account. GoldKhata does not add any markup on messages.

• Give accurate firm and contact details when signing up.
• Keep your login credentials safe — activity under your account is your firm's responsibility.
• The loan and customer records your firm enters belong to your firm.
• Your firm remains responsible for its own legal compliance — money-lending and pawnbroking licences, interest-rate rules and record-keeping laws that apply to your business. GoldKhata is a record-keeping tool, not legal advice.

We work to keep GoldKhata available at all times, on a best-effort basis. As an internet service, occasional downtime or maintenance is possible. Every firm's data is backed up nightly, and you can download a full Excel copy of your records any time.

You can cancel any time — service continues until the end of the period you have paid for. After that, your account becomes read-only: you can still see every record and download the full Excel export of your data. We never hold your data hostage.

We may suspend or terminate an account that is used unlawfully, that attempts to break or overload the service, that abuses our staff, or whose payment fails and remains unpaid after reminders. Where reasonably possible we warn first. Even on a suspended account, your firm keeps the right to a full export of its own data, except where the law requires otherwise.

GoldKhata is provided "as is". We work hard to keep it accurate and available, but we do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we disclaim implied warranties to the extent the law allows. Your firm remains responsible for verifying printed documents and statutory records before relying on them.

To the extent permitted by law, GoldKhata's total liability for any claim connected to the service is limited to the subscription fees your firm paid in the 12 months before the claim arose, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses (such as lost profits or lost business). Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under Indian law.

We may update these terms as the service grows. If a change matters to your firm, we will tell you on WhatsApp or email before it takes effect.

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute is subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Karnataka.
